What they rule the most is the entertainment and social media side of things. Forget record labels and bluh bluh bluh they've got Twitter.
They are the loudest in everything. Now tell me I'm lying.
They choose what goes into Oxford dictionary without even knowing it.
Their news trends more than relevant ones. I'm not saying everything they do is bogus but hey lets face it .
Miley Cyrus went haywire with her wrecking ball video and those of us here in Ghana carried it liken a world cup even though we were still facing 'DUMSOR" .
Who knew the word "TWERK" would be accepted in to Oxford dictionary?
I'm gonna take you through the Top trendy slangs this year which will be sadly missed.

. DUMSOR : Pronounced doom-sor means off and on.This slang was created by Ghanaians due to the electricity crisis and the whole load shedding ordeal. "Dum" means Off and "Sor" means On.

| . ON FLEEK : When you dress up and you are totally on point. Mostly used for eyebrows and nails. |

| . BAE : This technically stands for "Before Anyone Else" which has been adopted to be synonymous with "Baby or sweetie" |

. DOPE : Just as "fleek" was on every girl's lips, dope was like all the guy's favorite word. No, he won't go a day without saying "dope" some even nicknamed themselves from it . DopeBoy and all that.

| . BASIC : Unoriginal or mainstream. Someone is basic when they are solely interested in popular, commercial things. This slang wasn't so popular in Ghana. |

| . THIRSTY : Not technically referring to an actual thirst for water. But rather someone's desperation or over-eagerness. Most especially guys. And its like a girl's favorite slang she can't wait to use on a guy who is all over her. |
