These lifestyle trends have been around so long that it feels like it's some kind of tradition .
Each year you receive the same kind of things from the same people all the time.
You never even get the benefit of a little surprise for once.
They are so caring that they literally turn your house into a provision shop Same old routine annually .
I still love my mother land.Below are the most predictable christmas gifts to receive in Ghana. Feel free to tell me its a lie .
Checkout :
1. PERFUMED RICE & OIL: All kinds of rice available on the Ghanaian market. The most common ones to receive is Uncle sam, Royal Feast or Jasmine rice.
And the oil, you all already know its Frytol Oil.

4.BABY DIAPERS, POWDER & WIPES : If you had a baby this year or last year, just remember that you will not be spending much on their diapers till your kid grow. Every relative you know will at least give you two packs of pampers for Christmas.
Its as if they didn't give you enough baby stuff at the naming ceremony ?

5. CLOTHES & SHOES : This is the most interesting part for kids and teens .When you have a relative abroad and you know every year they send some goods home.
The anticipation of what's gonna be in that box or suit case with your name written all over it sends you to Mars and back.
SHIPPED BOX |
6. MONEY : You start smiling the moment you see that famous white Ghanaian envelope. Then you know you got some money. Your face automatically drops when you open it and see another white paper which is obviously a letter . Thats like the most priceless moment I think.

7. CHRISTMAS CARDS: This happens all around the world . You will under every condition get a card. Oh You will unless you are the most hated on the planet. Christmas cards should be ranked the most given and received gift in the world. God bless who ever brought the idea of these greeting cards.

COOKED MEAL : This part screams Jollof ! jollof !! jollof !!!. When you see your aunty coming through the gate with a basket, you should already know its jollof !
