MAKEUP TIPS FOR CHRISTMAS - be simple but stylish

It's Christmas season, its a fun month, loaded with cocktail parties, BBQs, church services , pool parties and the list keeps going on and on.

One of the most artistic things during Christmas is the beautiful colors it come with.

If you've noticed the dark green, cherry red and white, you'll know what i'm taking about.

Now, most ladies don't mess with their makeup. Some literally don't leave home without makeup.

I mean it's totally normal.
Cos Hey a girl has to look fab on a daily and most importantly its christmas and it's a hell of a big deal to look good.

Alright so I'll go straight to the point. If you wanna look good facially for Christmas it doesn't mean you should go all out.

Sometimes just little and simple does the trick.

                                                          DO'S & DON'TS

Use earthy colors like brown, green, black and colors around that section for your eyelids.
You can use a  black eyeliner  to   make your eyes pop and give it that pretty Egyptian or cat-woman look.

Avoid very loud colors that glitter and very dark ones as well. You don't wanna end up shinning brighter than the Christmas light and look greener than the Christmas tree.

After outlining your brows with a dark brown pencil, use a concealer which is slightly lighter than your skin tone  to fill and contour  the shape of your brows.

NO artificial lashes. Its not halloween . You wanna keep it simple. Mascara adds volume to you lashes and makes it appear longer. Try a two in one mascara if you wanna make it dramatic. I still won't advice that because we wanna keep it very simple and soft.

Use a nude  lipstick. They are lipsticks that are like your skin color. They come in dry or glossy forms. You can also try a  peachy pink color to give you that girly feel and softness OR  if you wanna add a bit of sexiness, try on a cherry red lipstick .

No dark lipstick. You don't wanna go to a party looking all Gothy, you might scare the kids away and give the grandma's a heart attack. That's disaster.

After applying your foundation and powder to hide the little spots, use a soft pink blush a bit below you cheek bone to kill the look. The lighter your skin, the ligher the blush. Same applies to dark skin.
